Danielle Barrett

Danielle is a Chartered Physiotherapist and qualified from the University of Hertfordshire in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy. She is a highly experienced musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and is committed to delivering evidence-based treatments to deliver optimal outcomes for her patients. She continuously updates her knowledge and has achieved a wide range of post-graduate qualifications.

 

With extensive experience in Private Practice Danielle receives referrals from patients, consultants and surgeons. Having completed specialist training and certification in treating patients with Lymphoedema and Lipoedema she regularly treats patients post-operatively.

 

As a Certified APPI Pilates Instructor, qualifying in 2014, she has led established Pilates Classes for over a decade and is also able to offer 1:1 Pilates classes either in clinic or online via zoom.

 

Qualified in Acupuncture Danielle uses this as an adjunct to her physiotherapy treatments.

Alongside this she currently works as a First Contact Practitioner within the NHS, assessing and referring patients for further diagnostics such as imaging, blood tests and onward investigations.

 

Danielle previously worked within an acute NHS trust for 5 years, and obtained extensive experience in Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy including post operative physiotherapy, Respiratory Physiotherapy, Elderly rehabilitation, Community Physiotherapy and spent a year working within the Emergency Department. She has previously worked with patients referred from the medico-legal sector and occupational health.

 

Danielle is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Health Care Professions Council, the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and MLD UK.
